The official account posted on October 8, 2026 that the Halloween update was live. The post tells players to do Halloween activities for dollars and Blockbux, decorate with new Halloween items, and finish the event for a trophy and a free car.
On October 9, 2026 the same account announced the Gothic Items update and linked the Roblox event page. Public listings schedule Gothic Items from October 15, 2026 at 5:00 AM Pacific, which is 12:00 UTC, until October 22, 2026 at 4:55 AM Pacific, which is 11:55 UTC. The in-game timer is the one that counts. The listing describes the window. It does not by itself prove every item leaves the catalog the hour the window ends.
Some calendars also list the wider Halloween event through November 2, 2026 at 12:55 UTC. Use the in-game event clock if that date and the clock disagree.
Holiday items for Halloween, Winter, Lunar New Year, and Easter are sold for a limited time. The official FAQ says that limited sale is the usual pattern.
What to do during the event
- Join the experience and read the current event prompts before you follow an old screenshot.
- Do the daily activity first if it is on a timer. Community notes from October 11, 2026 describe a ghost whose lost item pays a larger cash reward inside 24 hours, reported at $10,000, and a smaller one after that, reported at $2,500. Those figures are not in the October 8 post. Check the reward on the prompt you see.
- Ghost locations from October 8 through October 12 are already the wrong day. This page does not reprint them.
- Spend event Blockbux and dollars on decorations you actually want. Tickets were discussed by players as removed for this year. The official post talks about Money and Blockbux, not a ticket currency.
- Finish the completion reward if you want the trophy and the free car from the October 8 post.
Sabrina's quest, as reported on October 10, 2026
A community walkthrough from that date describes the Halloween Haunting Quest Trophy. Props can move. If a step does not match the plot, follow the NPC's current line.
- Talk to Sabrina on the Halloween event plot. Her recipe book was reported on the second floor of the barn on the left.
- Return it, brew the random potion she asks for, then a weightless potion using a balloon, then a loud potion using a baby rattle.
- Find a book at Bloxburg High School, in the library's small castle reading room, on the floor.
- Brew a bright potion using a lantern.
- Talk to the fisherman. The missing page was reported behind Cape Beacon Lighthouse, under a rock in the water.
- Brew a see-through potion using glasses. Drink the potion Sabrina gives you.
- Talk to Helen in front of the Victorian mansion on the event plot. Dig up the grave whose headstone has a witch hat, return the key, and enter the mansion.
- The basement in front of the fireplace was reported as a series of mazes.
The walkthrough was cut off after the basement in the source used here. Treat later steps as unfinished on this page rather than guessed.
Vehicles and a graveyard were also discussed around the update, including a Ghost Patrol activity separate from the lost-item hunt. Those details come from event previews and guides, not from the short official post. If a vehicle or job is missing, it was not part of the reward you have unlocked yet, or the preview was ahead of the build you are in.
